Multiplexed cell-based assay platform safetyProfiler reveals efficacy, potency and side effects of drugs
We are excited to announce the publication of our proof-of-concept study on drug safety profiling, which investigated the polypharmacological properties of 17 drugs across ten targets and three signaling pathways. Our multiplexed safety profiling assay, termed safetyProfiler, revealed distinct polypharmacological profiles of antineoplastics and neuroleptics. Our safetyProfiler assay will help assess the efficacy, potency, and side effects of novel drugs, thereby facilitating the development of highly selective multi-target therapeutics with a favorable efficacy and safety profile.
